  • Let me ask you guys something. I have 2 gigs of DDR2 ram, not overclocked, but the good heatsinked Corsair stuff. Would there be a gain at all from using 4gigs and 2? I still only use XP and an E6400 C2Duo proc and while playing UT my system only uses at the most 1.2gigs of ram.

  • no real point if your running XP 32x them your computer may not real anymore then 3 GB of ram if I am correct.

You only really need that ram if your running that game on high resolutions.

  • i canot get up from 10 fps:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 @ 1.5 GHz

    2 GBs DDR2 @ 334 MHz

    Intel GMA X3100 @ 358 vram at 400 mhz

and ¬¬ sucker WV with DX10

  • of course you cant for one thing you using slow RAM, an extremly weak intel intergrated graphics chip and your core 2 duo is only at 1.5 GHZ.

I can completly understand it seems that you are using a old laptop, but heck my 3 year old desktop could play this game.

still though if you are playing it at MAX at 10FPS that thats pretty good I guess......

  • Iv got Intel C2D E7200 2x2.5 2Gb Ram 800MHz

and Palit Gforce 8600 GT and my FPS on Max Spec jump betwen 49-55 =D

  • not bad.

  • lol I can see what your saying but Fraps ruines any game no matter how many cores you have, Also I wanted maximum quality so Fraps was recording in full screen mode meaning that my resolution that Im playing the game at is the resolution that the video file is in, now that uses up alot of power.

Im almost done making a sniping montage just need to get a few more clips........ I'm alot better now....

  • no dude its all good i know that fraps makes it kinda hard to play... but i mean fraps shouldn't effet your computer if you havea quad, and a 8800 GT .. but you will get better it took me a bit to get used to the speed of the game it moves very fast pace

  • Thanks but as you may be able to tell the video is laggy I cant shoot to be best ability when Im getting like 19 FPS.

Im alot better now and am working on a way better video.

Please though keep the flaming to a decent level, I cannot tell you have many assholes I've met on youtube.

  • yep, and its a new laptop T_T, its an Dell 1520, hate it ¬¬

  • the realy truth is that, its on 320x200 the resolution, physics off, and all graphical options LOW
