  • I was one of the singers in this great mass choir. This was the first time that James Cleveland used an orchestra with this choir and Kansas City Philharmonic accompanied us live. I remember being at the choir rehearsal and my sister coming in from her room and telling us that our grandfather had passed away. That was in August of 1976. This song has stayed in my spirit throughout the drive from Kansas City to Mississippi and everytime I hear it, I feel the comfort.

  • wow! Quite a story. I'm glad to hear that you have such a close connection to this song due to your involvement and such. I love the orchestra in this song, it was utilized well.

  • I was so much involved in the Gospel Music Workshop. Jimmy Dowell was minister of music at the my home church in Muskegon and I was also a member of his group, Jimmy Dowell Singers for a few years.

  • I know God is still in the miracle working business, He has worked some miracles in my life!

  • There will never be another like Rev. James Cleveland. You can't bought this feeling it not for sale.

  • Truly the "King of Gospel" only one Rev. James Cleveland

  • I was that that Workshop in Kansas City. While we were rehearsing, my sister came down into the room and told us that my grandfather had just passed away. What a comfort this song was then and still is. I do remember Eugene Galloway, his brother, Butch and mother from Voices of Christ.

  • If possible can you add more songs from this album. I am looking for Wretch Undone led by Rev. Donald Vails that was recorded on this album. Thanks for any and all assistance.

    God Bless

  • does anyone have the version of the Thomas Whitfield Company singing this, with Mildred Calhoun singing? I would very much enjoy hearing it again! She sang it like an angel.

  • I Remember this song, At the Workshop,

This is one of my favorites. I sing

    with The Voices Of Christ.

    under Dr. Helen J.H. Stephens.
