This video is all about Iphone 3g and 3gS running on 3.1 or 3.1.2 with baseband 5.11.07 are now easily able to Jailbreak and YES Unlock as well. Simply connect your iphone to your computer. Download Blackrain from www.blackra1n.com and run it from your computer. You will be jailbroken in 30 seconds. Now you will see 'Blackrain' Icon on your Iphone. Run it from there and install Cydia/Rock and snow. And done. YOu will now be completely Jailbroken and Unlocked on 3.1/3.1.2 Firmware with 5.11.07 baseband.

PLEASE READ: If you got your Iphone 3gS or Ipod Touch 3rd generation and it had 3.1.2 Firmware when you opened up from its box packing then YES, Blackrain acts as a tethered Jailbreak. Meaning everytime you reboot your Iphone 3gS/Ipod Touch 3rd gen, you will see Itunes logo and USB logo (recovery screen). So at this point you have to run Blackrain again from your computer. And done.

This Blackrain will support "Hactivation", meaning if you do not have official sim card for your iPhone and you updated your iphone to 3.1 or 3.1.2 firmware then you will be stuck on Itunes logo and USB logo on your Iphone screen. So at this point you have to run Blackrain from your computer. Doing so will hactivate your Iphone and open up in normal mode. Then you can go ahead and run blackrain from your Iphone and run 'Blacksnow' to Unlock.

Running "Blacksn0w" will enable Internet tethering on firmware 3.1.2 and then you can surf the Internet using the connection of your iPhone even when Apple and the operators had decided not to allow it. For complete Internet Tethering you have to go to this website on your Iphone Safari Browser http://help.benm.at/help.php If Then scroll down and look for blue button "MobileConfigs". Click on it and select your country. Install appropriate GSM network there and reboot your Iphone. And done.
If you're in the USA and use AT&T, you can also just go to http://is.gd/8QYHa on your iPhone, install the mobileconfig, reboot, then turn on tethering in Settings→General→Network.
You can also install a patch from Cydia according to your Iphone to get MMS and Internet Tethering by adding this source in Cydia http://www.sinfuliphonerepo.com .

If you are on a 2G iPhone, Blacksn0w isn't an option for you. But BootNeuter is, a completely free permanent unlock for your 2G.
