@seClip9 it was going to Temple University station in Philadelphia and is an express train. SEPTA uses their push-pulls for express trains only.

The Clocker looks like a ghost how it fades into the shot at 0:35.

NJT currently runs north of Morrisville PA to NYC and from 30th Street Station to Frankford Jct on the way to Atlantic City. There are deadhead equipment moves between from Meadowlands Maintenance Center (MMC) and 30th St. but no revenue service. That will change when NJT starts operating the ACES train from NYC to AC early next year (technically the train is paid for by the casinos with NJT power and crew).

why does the amtrak train have a njt locomotive

The engines were purchased in anticipation of NJT taking over the Amtrak Clocker runs and were used from Philadelphia to NYC until October 2005. The new Clockers operated by NJT only run from Trenton north.
