Hal Swain on Regal, with vocal by Hal Swain. I can now give the recording details as follows. Recorded on June 20th 1927, one of Swain's first recording sessions.

  • just wonderful i love this song thanks so much . born too late

  • Hal Swain, a very polished band on the lovely laminated Regal. I have a few Swain recordings on regal, and one or two on Imperial. However, the quality of the Imperial recordings I have leave much to be desired!

  • Yes Raie had that released at some point up to New years eve 1930.She had made 16 sides by that point,4 classical, the rest"pop"!

  • Lovely Raie with her "Marcel" waved "shingle" and dainty frock("ladettes"take a leaf from her book!) listening to my very Gramophone!!!I reckon around 1930?-what record is advertised and i will see if its in my Catalogue?A great new tune aswell!

  • It"s Regal G8903, apparently that you have there? Couldn't find the recording date either.
