This video shows John - a young man using a Pathfinder with Unity128. He came to see his therapist to tell her about a problem he was having with a caregiver in his group home. The sentences he created were generated word-by-word, but for the purpose of the video, he relates the information by speaking everything sentence-by-sentence. This video shows how a person with expressive language disabilities can still be a powerful communicator when given and taught how to use Core Vocabulary. Using his device, he reported the incident to the authorities and it was resolved. He used all CORE VOCABULARY and no specialized vocabulary was needed.
