  • The voice over created for this trailer is terrible - who wrote it? The film is very different and much better than this trite text remotely suggests. And why the stoopid Russian accent? In Russia they speak Russian without any accent, amazing isn't it.

  • This film prooves how can a man make a masterpiece using only

    one camera,a few actors,amazing landscapes,great imagination

and deep feelings. This is the only necessary material.Leave all the

    rest for Hollywood movies.

  • The trailer is better than the movie. I kept waiting for something to happen and nothing did until the last 10 minutes of the movie.

  • hit return key!

Zodiac was just typical Hollywood "thriller"...I found it boring and uninspiring to be honest.

But I do agree that there are many American movies which are great but get overlooked because they are from America. However, pretty much every film that I have seen that has had real depth of story and feeling, has been made outside of America.

I heard that it was literally the day after shooting finished!!

  • @xamenos00 well, do you disagree that for example, Fincher's, thus hollywood's, Zodiac was a masterpiece?Or Citizen Kane?Or Godfather? What about Elias Kazan's films?Or John Houston's films?Or Scorcese's?Or John Ford's?Even Paul Thomas Anderson and so many others.

  • Could anybody tell me what was in the fathers tin box he dug up,was it the photos at the end?

  • I just watched this movie and loved it... didn't remember anyone speaking english with a russian accent in it though.

    Subtitles.... I LOVE them.

Interesting. He returned to the area where his father died due to his sons' behavior. This frequently also happens in reality that the wrongdoer returns to the scene of his crime. In this case it seems that the film's reality and the actual reality were not strictly kept apart by the actor who played that particular son.
