"Sing we of the blessed Mother" is hymn #278 in the 1982 Hymnal
Words: George B. Timms

Michael is a seminarian of the Independent Catholic Christian Church (www.inclusivecatholics.com) and has a deep love of traditional liturgy. He has been a church musician since he was about 14 and first joined the church choir. Michael started organ soon after and has been involved in church music ever since. Currently Michael works as the director of music at a local parish in St. Louis. He is involved with the Divine Infant King Apostolate for Traditional Liturgy (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/traditional-catholic-liturgy/) and Rene Villatte Press (http://stores.lulu.com/vilatte), both of which are ministries of the Independent Catholic Christian Church.
This lovely hymn which is in the (Anglican) New English Hymnal sounds glorious when set to the tune 'Blaenwern'. (especially if you have trumpets!)
