I used to work for a Bridal salon and we sold tons of her gowns. Unfortunately, we had to send many of them back due to poor construction or mistakes...sometimes more than once. What a headache!

oh....there are a lot of jealous PEASANTS here claiming that monique bought fame. this hardworking woman started with just $30,000 when in fact she could have just easily used daddy's money to build an empire.

Nobody can "buy" the kind of fame Lhuillier has achieved. Your daddy can buy your way into a first collection, but unless you are a great designer you crash and burn in NYC. Lhuillier has a beautiful eye for simplicity and glamor, and she really knows what looks good on a woman.

Id'd just like to add to what magdvr, polomonpn1, and paddy9465 have said.

This one is a farce, repeatedly ripping off some of the great designers of the world. And I too have known about the horrible quality issues that still exist there. This isn't a brand, this is a name made famous on the backs of the poor!

I won't comment on the sweatshop conditions that exist in L.A.
