Kamal gameplay

Made in one week by students who didnt know eachother, Kamal if a first place price winning platformer with a unique twist. At first Kamal appears to be a standard platformer. But when you get in the posession of a golden ViewMaster, made by the gods, you see the world in a whole different perspective. By pausing the game and moving the camera you can parallax different layers of the same level.

At one point in the game the player tries to jump over a gap filled with spikes. During the jump the plaer realizes that the gap is too large to jump over. Right before he hit the spikes the player pauses the game, parallax the ledge closer to him, so that the cap appears to be smaller. When the player unpauses the game the optical trick became reality and the player jumped over the gap.

Interesting, it got the same kind of feel as Paper Mario or Braid, which is cool... I wish you luck with your game.

i love how you can alter the game feild it reminds me of the new game where you play as a paper mache character
