  • is this low-light lens?

  • @EJPDZ yes this lens is a low-light lens due to its constant 2.8 aperture

  • SO EXPENSIVE !

  • @AbdulAziz348 That's true but if you look at the price of other lenses in nikons wide angle lens collection this lense looks like a bargain for the amount of angle it produces!

  • dude show its work instead of talking. bad vid.

  • My problem with this lens is filters. I already have a bunch of 77mm filters. There is a 4 X 6" filter holder for this lens but it is $350 and it is always out of stock. Screw 350 dollars I settled for 17-35mm f/2.8

  • @coooooolio666

Get a job in the oil industry, YAY!

Except for the Tokina 11-16, which got better reviews than Nikons other DX lenses. Now, on a full frame the Nikon 14-24 destroys the competition.

  • I just bought this lens yesterday, wow is it kick ass. I sold my Tokina 11-16 so I lost some ultra wide on my d200. But, I put money down on the soon to be released D800, so Ill be able to take full advantage of the 14mm on full frame. I just really hope they release the D800 in February.

  • @coooooolio666 Don't worry :( I'm a Canon user but enjoy watching Nikon videos haha I've of course played around with them hehe

  • i'm jealus, must be on a good wage, the average person could not afford thses lenses really!

  • @BonanzaN3214C1 It works on a D80, but due to the DX formatting in the D80, you get the 1.5 magnification. so it's 21-36mm equivalent (to full frame). If you're planning to get a 24-70 and a 70-200, it becomes a great combo and especially if your'e planning to upgrade to a D700, D3(X)/(S), or even the D4 which is to come out eventually, then DEFINITELY go for it. He didn't reply so I thought I would hehehe but I would recommend it. It's a great lens.

  • @coooooolio666 Are you serious just judging by his age? He may hire it but don't just assume he doesn't own them because he's young.. I'm definitely younger than him and I own quite a few professional lenses :)

  • I TAKE IT U HIRE THESE LENSES? UR YOUNG TO BUY SUCH LENSES!?
