So the ROI of social media is "we waste money on other things"?

OMG I am in tears!!! Love it!!!

It kind of boils down to this (assuming your customers are using social media platforms and would appreciate a conversation with you there). Either you care about your customers or you don't. There may or may not be immediate ROI to caring, but not caring is not going to give you the best chance to be successful in the long run.

This was me 6 months ago. Now I am on the other side of the table. Good presentation

90 likes, 1 dislike. I'm thinking 90 social media professionals and/or internal advocates and 1 boss.

Thank you. Just thank you.

OMG this is great! I think we've all had this conversation at one point or another. It's great to know we're not alone!

AND...you wonder how these folks get into these positions of leadership. Very funny but very realistic video!!!

Ugh :)

Well done Scott - thanks for the laugh.
I have clients that have gotten 10x better results with Yellow pages and Direct mailers than with social media. We fought hard for social media but in the end, the ROI was negligible. I'm not saying they don't need social media but they do need to focus where their highest yield is coming from. For many of them social media is third or fourth on that list.
Even the ROI on email was questioned for years before it became mainstream. Social media is no different.

@ChrisEhYoung You kinda missed the entire point of the video Chris. This isn't saying Social Media is a better sales tool. It's saying it's a communication tool that you can't use ROI in a sales situation to justify.
