MCN examine new bikes from BMW and Husqvarna that have just been unveiled at the EICMA Milan motorcycle show.

One new model unveiled by BMW is the R1200GS Rallye, with the venerable GS receiving cosmetic updates including BMW Motorrad Motorsport paint, a red frame, wire spoked wheels and Enduro Electronic Suspension Adjustment.

BMW unveiled another special edition, the G650 GS Sertão, an off-road version of the G650 motorcycle that features a larger 21" front wheel, longer travel suspension, handguards and knobbly tyres.

One of the surprises of the show was the Husqvarna MOAB - a Scrambler concept bike that is fully functional and likely to go into production. The MOAB is powered by a 650cc single and is inspired by the Steve McQueen motocross bikes of the late '60sand early '70s, with retro touches incorporated into the great-looking design.

  • Hey! BMW, can't you see? We want an USD forked GS, With proper sized spoked wheels, now that would be a rallye indeed, something like the good old hp2 maybe?

  • actually, rotax makes that particular engine (lifted from a BMW), and that is part of their engine design.

  • @beeqool no reason, it works well whichever side they are on. guess the whole bike looks different, so why stop at the looks and not have different design maybe?

  • @topbanana188 in 2013 the new gs water cooled version :)

  • why does husquarna have chain and rear brake on the opposite side as other manufacturers?

  • Hmm quite like the Rallye. When are we going to see a proper 1200GS update though?

  • @avenged277693 okay, understandable.. but I want to see it :) haha, because I live in Norway, and all UK magazines are shit expensive, and no stores take MCN in.

  • Bmw Sexy ?....Ha Ha Ha He he he he ha He ah ha aaa, you funny fella. it looks like a honda monkey spliced with the millenium falcon, Thay's what happens when Germany invades Italy.

The serato or 650 g ?...hang on.., your in the wrong stand man , that's the prehistoric stand. Bmw, that thing is a bloody dinosaur with a set of stickers on it!

It's not like their short of coin ........

  • @S01NOR If they gave away all the information on this channel, there would be no reason for people to buy the magazine. They need to make money
