I was standing in the background of this crash up on the hill. We overheard him say he was doing about 260 when it started to tankslap on him. Don't know what could have caused that. Oh, and one of the stewards burnt his hand pretty bad when he tried to pick the bike up by the exhaust - DOH!

Dodgy tyre according the Hank. Like a lot of the privateer contenders, he relies on hand-me-downs from usually RRR racing or the other big, sponsored teams. Beggars can't be choosers!
