  • @MoonwalkerWorshiper well i can't help you with that part. I guess you'll have to wait for nintendo to just make a harder game then.

  • @OfficalDoubleJ Problem is as a veteran Mario player I miss a serious development of Mario sidescrolling. Making the games even easier than the old ones is not moving forward, it's moving backwards.

  • @MoonwalkerWorshiper Well that's the way Mario games are. The main games easy for those casual gamers and then you have those hard challenges later on for the more advanced players. Like i said in my first comment, it's for some, it's not for some and people have opinions.

  • @OfficalDoubleJ Ya those games just aren't good enough. Too easy and predictable, also what is a plumber doing in outer space?

  • @MoonwalkerWorshiper super mario galaxy, super mario 3d land

  • @OfficalDoubleJ C'mon Mario is a commercialized mascot nowadays not an iconographic hero with integrity as he used to be. Nintendo have done an excellent job of advancing Zelda but no, not Mario.

  • @MoonwalkerWorshiper it's not called recycling it's called nostalgia. end of story.

  • @OfficalDoubleJ And it doesn't make the game better just because one includes enemies that belonged to a game that WAS great. Yeah SMB3 is one of the best video games of all time. Recycling some elements from that game is not magically gonna make New Mario Bros good, that's a cop out. Commercial mentality of Nintendo: "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Braindead consumer: "oh it's Mario, Mario WAS good once then this new game must be great". I'm disappointed.

  • @OfficalDoubleJ These new Mario platformers sure ain't long. Mario Galaxy might be, but if I laid hands on these Wii-sidescrollers I'd beat them in a day. Not like in the old days where one was more unsure where to go next, how to move, what you could expect. The games had a depth of greatness in them. The level designs in these new ones just suck, there aren't enough enemies, the levels aren't immortal like the ones in SMB1.

  • @MoonwalkerWorshiper *sigh* something can be fun without it being a short game. It's fun, it's long. With enemies I'm talking about rare enemies that usually never make reappearance anymore, goomba's koopa's, boo's ect. make appearances in alot of games and i understand that but characters like the Koopalings, Para-Beetles, Spikes who haven't made many appearances. I know the Koopalings appeared in SMW, i said it was a throwback to that game too.
