Haha oh wow, how anybody thinks this game is anything but abominable is beyond me.

The only mechanics that are realized and interesting in this game are the insanity and health systems. Otherwise? Shooting has absolutely no place in a Lovecraftian game. Stealth is broken as fuck and similarly out of place. Puzzles are trivial shit.

Utter trash, but at least Amnesia exists.

Shooting does stick out like a sore thumb, but considering that most of the shit you face doesn't die with bullets it does work. Stealth is hilarious though. It was amazing to hide behind a box and become invisible to the silly fishmen. Even so, stealth is pretty fitting. You are being chased by a bunch of fish people after all.

The puzzles were pretty tricky on the first run though. Heck even on the second run i made mistakes that turned out fatal.

I'm playing on the pc and I don't see the player hand performing all the actions (opening doors and stuff). How can I fix this?

You're not supposed to turn off the lights, only when the shadow is hunting you. Did you even played Amnesia?
