Nicky snitched years after incarceration. Dudes was hitting his wife while he was in prison. But to be honest, we gotta stop portraying these guys like heroes. Show more black people who we can be proud of - Why not a Ben Carson movie or supm? A poor black kid becoming Americas best neurosurgeon is too boring I guess

@PureHoneyChild We also really need to stop acting like we can't teach our children right from wrong. as an adult now, I watched these documentaries as a teenagers and they didn't make me want to sell drugs, or my friends want to sell drugs. I think we need to stop acting like our black kids don't know any damn better. If a child doesn't know right from wrong by age 16 there is a SERIOUS problem, and really not something you can solve by keeping them from this movie, or that.

I am so sick of seeing movies, documentaries, songs, etc. glorifying people like Nicky Barnes & other gangsters who literally destroyed our communities. We have teens & young adults who can't even fathom a future because they're the 2nd and 3rd generation of fatherless (and/or motherless) children in a damnable legacy that started when our mothers & fathers started shooting up back in the 70s & 80s. Drugs = Death, Prison & Ignorance. That is the legacy of drug dealers.

@shoes1922 yeah guy violated the rules of the council but nick violated rules of the street nicky know plenty of people to deal with guy but he took a sucker way out told on the team and others sent his wife to jail that's not real

And he tried to get fisher killed, but the rest of the council had given up loyalty to the organization nicky while he was inside!!

they violated codes by not following the boss rules from jail, so the boss gave they asses up!!!

U would still be loyal to them, i know!!!
