  • can you take of the threaded end cap and put it back on?

  • @vybzshakur, Yes you can. No problem.

  • I have read that this .22 gun jams ALOT? Yours seems fine, why do you think others have problems?

  • It's the ammo. The ammo in the video is the "famous" CCI Mini-mags. Use that, it works fine. The problem with Mini-mags though is that it sort of defeats the purpose of a .22LR pistol in the first place, as it is about 2.5 to 3 times as expensive (or more) than a regular .22LR round. (12-15 cents vs. 4 cents). That's why I like shooting Czech surplus 7.62x39 for 18 cents a round. A lot of bang for your buck. I need a 7.62x25 pistol to shoot surplus now. Supposed to be comparable to .357 SIG.

  • I suppose I should have put "10-15 cents a round", after putting "2.5 to 3". Hard to find Mini-mags that cheap anymore though. It is realistically more like 3 to 4 times. "CCI Standard Velocity" is, strangely enough, another round that works well in Mosquito and other .22LR autoloaders.

  • Hello. So overall how would you evaluate the Mosquite? It's important because I am considering purchase. How hard are the mags to load? I have a P22 and love it. Is it accurate, How hard is to to assemble/disassemble and how hard to clean (very important). thanks in advance, Sincerely, JAMES.

  • The mags are easy to load. Basically all .22LR mags are single stack, and they usually have a lever you can hold down that stops the follower from coming to the top. Mosquito does. Similar to the P22. It is reasonably accurate. Not as accurate as a Ruger or Browning though. It wil still group nicely though. It is easy to field strip, a little tricky to completely disassemble. It is easy to keep clean. It is a fixed barrel gun. Requires very little oil or grease.

  • I am a left handed shooter and am tryin to decide which gun to buy: the p22 or the mosquito. It would be my first gun and I have informed myself pretty well about both guns. The main advantage of the p22 is that it is ambidextrous. But I kind of like the SIG better in all other aspects. Eventhough I have never owned a gun, I am a fairly good shot. I ahouldnt have problems with the SIG sights. Would you reccomend this gun based on that information?

    Thanks

  • Hi. I noticed you have more than one magazine. Did you purchase it from Sig Sauer - & if so was it the plastic kind OR was it the metal kind like the one they gave you that comes with the gun when you purchase it? Thank You. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • Nice pistol!

  • @Ghostie604

I use federal 40gr in my Sig 22 and it eat's them up no jam's try it.

  • Yes.

  • Theirs nothing wrong with the gun . It's due to the 22 rimfire cartridge . Just about all ! 22 auto's jam .

  • Is that a standard size rail on it ?

Could I put my Surefire X300 on it ?

  • I have one too and it jams, but I was talking to the guy I bought it from today (who also has one) and he said he had to put like 450 - 500 rounds through it til it was broken in nice.
