@TehShush Technically it should have picked up a Series number after McCoy's run as Doctor Who was only "suspended" and never offically cancelled

I heard that they always intended for David Tennant to be the Doctor from the start of the new series, but he was doing Hamlet or something, and if they didn't start filming immediately, Doctor Who would never return. Chris, you were a great interim Doctor!
