Gene Gullingsrud, MD is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He regularly lectures to medical students and residents from Mayo and UM. He also teaches cataract surgery nationally and internationally. He is with Edina Eye Physicians and Surgeons, P.A. in Minnesota.

This surgery is of a dense pseudoexfoliation cataract, one which we see quite commonly in Minnesota. It shows how a relatively challenging case can be easily handled using modern techniques.

The viewing audience can range from patients to students to ophthalmologists. Basic principles of cataract surgery are discussed.

Strange there was so much "juice" spilling out of the fruit, but no offense. You did great work, especially the commentary, although i was worried you will brake the eye. You must have steel nerves
