I've seen some crappy vids on youtube and this one ranks right up there with the best of the crap. I want the 2 minutes and 41 seconds of my life you just stole back.

@georgewu5 For disasterous regions like Haiti and New Orleans, they need semi permanent housing more the tents some still have been living there, I have this idea for them to bolt and nut their own house together, just follow the numbers marked on the 2" x 10", or 6" x 6", tighten the bolts and the nuts together, an unskilled person can build a home for his family. The foot print 10' x 36' can house 2-br full bath, kitchen living-dining with cathedral ceiling. George Wu, AIA 2012-1-14

Seven feet above the logs, one still needs all the milled lumber 2x4, plywood and so forth. So what is the big deal? Why not use all milled lumber and insulated with 10" & 6" batt insulation and covered with plywood, and framed by post and beam with bolts and nuts? I have done it, a 3,000 sq.ft restaurant with 3-br upstairs, around and above an abandoned gas station, mostly ( 90%) by myself ! George Wu, AIA 2012-1-14
