The camera had a setting for low light. That added a red cast, now it's pink on youTube... The strike looks like it hit in front of the building... This was a shortened clip from a longer video. Yes I got lucky when it hit...

Cool video, im hoping to record some lighting myself.
Had some crazy weather a few years back in north norway, sad i diddnt have a video camera back then. It was crazy, all over the sky. The lighting was all over the sky over me, going across the valley. Usually was 4-7 seconds between each strike. Have never seen anything like it, but i really hope i can see it again. Now i have a camera, would be something...

Norway! This sounds like heat lightning. I remember this happening here in South Florida once. ONCE! the entire sky was lighting up, splintering everywhere. YEARS ago, man, I'd love to be able to record that. It's very rare, and rare to catch the bolt that I got here too. Lucky I guess!!
THE RULE IS ALWAYS HAVE YOUR CAMERA WITH YOU! YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN A UFO WILL PASS BY. AND NEVER NEVER SHOOT ALL YOUR (FILM) CARD SPACE. A CAMERA IS USELESS WITHOUT IT!
