  • Thank you so much!

  • @hopetoknit1 You can Google "Gordon Lightfoot concerts 2012" and see his schedule. Yes, he is still performing. Remember, that in the last few years he has had some serious health issues.

  • Does anyone know what has happened to him? Does he still perform?

  • Where did this come from........is this the Soundstage 1979 concert? I don't think so........please enlighten me.

  • For whatever it's worth, been there, done that. Could never begin to begin to express it so beautifully and so clearly though. Such a confusing mix of regret and sorrow, but also so much gratitude for being blessed with such a special time. Too few people are.

Even though the memories are all you're left with, they're so very precious. As that saying goes, "the gift that keeps on giving".

  • Sure gives you the sense that you have to have lived this to write this.

  • Evidently one person's hand slipped. Another Lightfoot masterpiece.

  • I had a very good and dear friend that was killed in an auto accident. I spoke with her just days before, and this song brings her lovely face to my mind. She was like a little sister and I loved her very much and will always miss her. God bless you Sandy, I'll see you again some day.

  • @loner7 Try listening to Ray LaMontagne. he has a really great pedal steel guitar player too. Not to diminish this song. it is really special. peace.

  • One of Gordon's very best. Sheer poetry.
