Front Porch Waltz (Rick Thum)

One of my favorite songs written by Rick Thum. You can find this song on Rick's album "Front Porch Waltz and Other Requested Favorites" or on "A Reason to Dance" I decided to go ahead and record facing the camera (for once) just for the heck of it and I am happy with the sound quality...no maxing out this time!

Thanks. I can completely understand seeing the strings, especially if people want to take ideas. I have already recorded a video to put up soon that I recorded the same night so you'll be seeing the underside of the dulcimer on that one again, but I'll try and stick with the strings

Beautiful!! I watched some videos from the dulcimer festival in Evart, Michigan, and one of the h.d. players stood with his dulcimer "to the side"...so you could see the hammers going like crazy. It was a near effect!
