Shocked. Either the usage of music allows the accent barrier to broken, because they are singing the song without any accents. Either that or english is their first language, but why would a taiwanese junior high have english as a first language

we've learned english since we were young, even though we like or not, we have english classes at elemantary school (some even learned just in kindergarten)
maybe the government thinks it important to learn it, but as far as i am concern, i think taiwanese's english is not so good as you think.
