6 String Bass Playing

I wish i could play like this, i really need to learn how to unlock the full potential of a 6 string. Any tips you can offer? ATM i just treat it like a 4 string bass with more notes lol

thanks dude! the biggest thing to help out with getting acustomed to the 6 string is use your octaves if your playing something that sounds cool jump around man take it to the higher registerand try it low or get a mindset where i want to start low and work my way up high might be confusing but thats how i look at it peace bro!

most ibanez i see are pretty fat but when this bass came out it was design for studio bassists like having the range and the homey feel i guess haha whats yours?

Thanx a lot man, ill be sure to try that. Usually with my playing i just jump from one place to another with slides but im gonna try workin my way up the fret board from now on, probably usin triads
