The BNP's Nick Griffin and Godfrey Bloom share conspiracy theories on climate change: Griffin describes climate change as an "hysterical obsession" leading to "the deindustrialisation of the West and the corporate domination of the Third World", and UKIP's Godfrey Bloom declared climate change to be a "bogus hypothesis" and "ridiculous nonsense".
Linda McAvan then speaks on behalf of Labour MEPs, responding to Bloom and Griffin and other speakers - not shown here - who claimed that climate change was not an important issue for voters.
European Parliament footage is taken from the Strasbourg plenary session, 20th October 2009.
Details of Linda's trip to Kenya can be found at http://practicalaction.org/?id=africanvoices_mep2006.

I'm genuinely interested to know why the odious BNP/UKIP (first 2 speakers here) put so much effort into denying the reality of climate change. The BNP/UKIP MEPs here are both proved wrong by the overwhelming majority of climate scientists in terms of facts and the third speaker in terms of the politics. How does it advance their single policy of hating foreigners to deny climate change? Maybe they are so used to twisting facts to suit their twisted minds that they can't help themselves?

If you believed in Nick Griffin please tell me that after this video you do not, climate change is real and happening and when in a few years time part of his beloved england is underwater then he will understand.
