The U.S. senate voted overwhelmingly late Wednesday to approve a revised version of a $700 billion plan to rescue the U.S. financial system. The vote comes just two days after the U.S. House of Representatives rejected the massive economic measure, causing the largest single-day point drop on Wall Street. VOA's Mil Arcega reports.
rationalized health care for persons over the age of 55 in this "bailout".... incredible, we do not matter and they are making that abundantly clear. Wonder if anyone will catch that part of the bill... what's worse, wonder if anyone will even care. Google your states senator and congressman find out who controls your district call them. send them an e-mail, call them on the phone, tell them you are against this bailout. Don't let private bankers decide what YOUR family does or does not need.
