Major Dylan "HABU" Thorpe flies a great performance in the A-10 just prior to the practice show being put on hold (and eventually cancelled) due to the weather. HABU flew the last act of Tuesday's practice.

I apologize for the black or white blips in the video, as I still have yet to figure out what causes it.

airshowfan, it would be great to see your videos from the top of one of those skyskapers looking down on the show. How unique would that be, seeing a show from above or eye level. Atlanta is the only show i know of that is that close to a major city with a skyline.

Great Video, and awesome quality, What camera did you use if you don't mind me asking..I attended the airshow at Jones Beach back in July and from where i was standing i still couldn't get a good quality video using my Sony SR-11..

I remember seeing one of the first public demos of the A-10 at Langley AFB back in the mid-1970s and how awestruck I was at its performance. This was back when shows could be flown pretty low directly over the crowds. It has always been one of my favorites, and as recent history has shown, has to rank as one of the best Air Force acquisitions. Your videos continue to be excellent Airshowfansh. Thanks for this walk down memory lane!

I don't know what it is. The A-10 is not all that high tech, far from being a modern stealth machine, and just plain ugly. But it is one of my favorites.

It can definitely put the hurt on our fuzzy faced friends.

I was looking at this guy with this very nice looking and expensive video camera and I wanted to go and asked him if he was Airshowfansh, I wish I had because I love your videos and wish I had met you if you were actually him. On wednesday at this airshow there was a guy sitting next me on the right. He ask me what plane it was and what it was used for. I said, "An A10", and, "for shooting the Taliban"
