  • This is spot on. When talking about the current crisis, one thing I always run into are jokes about bankers, and attacks on them, as not producing anything worthwhile. They are represented as leeches who only accidentally create wealth for other people sometimes.

  • Obviously Brook is spot on. The problem however is that when having this discussion you must go over the historic hatred that the populous holds for bankers. In real life, regardless of who you speak to, it is almost impossible to get the other side to sit through the history lesson that Brook eloquently provided & and realise how obsurd it is to automatically demonize financiers. If most people could accept the history lesson they might learn to accept the rest as well.

  • @pllpls Stop trying to denigrate Ayn Rand and thus pull a backdoor smear job on Brooke.

  • @mike8903 so do I. Ron Paul's wrong on those. He's an isolationist politically, and a Christian, which leads him to the wrong stand on abortion.

  • Impossible, Brook wasn't born on US soil and changing Constitution to allow candidacy for non-US born is ridiculous.

  • Even though he's a follower of Rand, Yaron Brook puts Ayn Rand to shame. Much more articulate, educated, not nearly as aggressive, etc.

  • Yaron Brook responded to a Peikoff e-mail (mentioned by Peikoff in a podcast yonks ago) about Ron Paul (so that Peikoff had something to say about Ron Paul as he knew very little about him).. Yaron's response? That Ron Paul believed America made 9.11 come onto itself (citing so-called American 'instigation' in mid-east as supposed reason Islamists fight America [truth is Islamists hate the West], etc).

Ron Paul wants states to decide on abortion, i.e., he's against individual rights.

  • mike8903 - you are spot on. If you don't support plunder of the American taxpayers to support Israel, you are against Israel, and then anti-Semitic.

I'm wondering if YB is a Zionist.

YB used to be on top of my Guru-list, but after the lies he told Peikoff on RP, he simply fell completely out of my top list.

  • yaron dislikes ron pauls foreign policy and stance on abortion.

  • 2 juice? What about RP?
