Einfach heftig..

  • Beautiful - and extremely relaxing.

  • wow so gut...

    meine böse orgelmusik!

  • Tempo, no mercy when Richter plays. He gets it. The Unstoppable Force of J.S.Bach in the name of God.

  • Why do people salute this? This is rape :P

Well, thank God for the early music awakening! :)

  • Why this guy behind him is standing like an idiot? Is he watch him to not cheat?! IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was very young when I first heard this version but had no idea whose playing it was (a Best of Bach album from Coles!). I have since listened to many versions of the Toccata and have a complete set of Bach's organ works by Hurford. Today I find out that it was Richter. Well, I would say this is the finest version and one that has influenced many and has made me turn to music for inspiration. Thanks for posting.

  • OMG! Can you imagine hearing this 300 years ago while walking by the local church at night where Bach was testing out an organ! You know Bach liked it LOUD!!! lol, he must have! God, what an artist!
