The story behind the foreclosure crisis and ensuing economic meltdown is complex and far reaching. In this hour-long special report, the I-Team seeks the answers behind the big questions: how did this crisis happen? Who is responsible? Can we fix the damage and prevent it from happening again? The story is told from the viewpoint of those on the front lines of the foreclosure crisis.
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) did nothing to stop their members (Realtors) from steering financially illiterate home buyers into toxic Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) loans. The primary goal of real estate licensure is to protect the public. Buyers who were NOT WARNED about ARM loans and real estate finance by their Realtors and agents should sue on the Errors & Omissions insurance. NAR is getting a free pass, because of their insider access to Washington DC politicians.

It's always been this way. Rich get richer, poor get poorer. If you ever see something otherwise, it's not true or is just a bubble waiting to be popped.
