they were rescues so i was expecting it the other peopl didnt take care of them

Another good idea is to check out baby toys at department stores. The other night I went to Target and got a 24 pack of colored links for babies, very similar to the shower curtain rings...it was only 2.99They keep Akando busy for a long time. We're definitely not going to find safe foot toys that cheap at a bird store.

Thanks! He REALLY enjoys playing out there every afternoon...spends a good 3-4 hours playing everyday ;-)
The cute part is that he *calls* me when he's ready to come inside LOL!

Thank you for your rating. It has been quite sunny and warm lately....our birds really benefit from it. It would be nice to have some winter type weather though. Ummm...last time I checked, it was January, right??? LOL
