Hi! Just as a technical nitpick - an iPhone isn't *really* part of the human extended phenotype. I've heard Richard Dawkins explain in an interview that he doesn't think that cultural artefacts are extended phenotypes of humans either - because they are not coded for in human genes. It is *probably* better to think of an iPhone as part of the phenotype of Apple (and its corporate symbionts) - the heritable material of which is part human DNA, part culture.
