These (kL Saigal and Kanan Devi) r the two best ever male and female singers of not only the film-world but also of the whole sphere of light music, better than even Rafi and Lata. Also MD of this song RC Boral (alongwith Khemchand Prakash as the next best ever Music Director) remains the best ever Music Director of the Indian film-world till date.

Superb song, indeed! And KLS looks dashing in that elegant bathrobe,doesn't he? I would love to own one like that !! At any moment I thought Kanan Bala was going to join in and make this song even sweeter by her singing response. KLS and Kanan and KLS and Khurshid made glorious singing pairs in pre-WWII cinema. Thank you, Mr. Vahanvaty.
