Yup, I'm redoing X8 - one of my top three MMX games. This time with much better video quality. Looking back at my old playthrough, I could barely tell what was going on in those videos. Hopefully, this playthrough will permanently replace the old one.

Most likely, I'll be following the same format as the other one: bosses first, then the items.

Anyways, hope you guys will enjoy it! (I definitely will...I mean, compared to that X7 playthrough...ugh.)

  • Since I've only recently started watching your stuff, what are your favorite MMX games in order? And if its not too much trouble, why? (Final stages, bosses, design, music, etc?)

  • hmm let's see... 1. MMX2 + Interesting/Creative bosses + Stage Variety + Balance in Difficulty - 2nd Sigma Form dull/boring 2. MMX5 + Good Stage Design & Variety + Awesome OST + Nostalgic bosses & can fight X/Zero - Bosses have good attacks, but they take ages to pull off an attack and damage ratio on bosses not balanced (bosses easy to kill)
  • 3. MMX8 + Challenging bosses + Bosses are forced to use their desperation attacks, more complex + Unique stages + Some memorable tracks - 3D graphics make it hard to see 4. MMX6 + Immensely Challenging stages + Nightmare Mother + Another good OST - Same problem as in X5 with bosses: unbalanced damage ratio - Stage design not the best, some were designed for one character over another; plus, upgrades are required to pass some areas
  • 5. MMX

    + Solid Stages and Bosses

    + Memorable Tracks

    - Simple bosses

    - First of the series, can't expect this game to be better than the later games of the series since they're trying to make games better than this one (to improve upon)

    6. MMX4

    + Good stage design

+ Storm Owl & Magma Dragoon = complexity, other bosses are decent/not as complex

    - Final stages are uninteresting; they seemed rushed

    - Final stage bosses aren't up to par with the 8 bosses

  • 7. MMX3 + Couple of good tracks. - Bosses are too simple & predictable, usually they spam 1 or 2 attacks - Most of the bosses like to charge at you or ram into a wall (Rhino, Buffalo, Crawfish, Tiger, Beetle, Bit, Byte, Vile) - Stages are dull, all of them look pretty similar 8. MMX7 + Boss Music + Gunslinger/Gundam Sigma? - Autoaim system defies MegaMan mechanics - Bad camera - Dash wall jumping is broken; you stop in midair - Boss movesets are horrible - Graphically unappealing
