Amazing trombone playing - Scott Shelsta - former trombone soloist for "Pershing's Own", The United States Army Band - portraying "The World's Oldest Musician", a reenactment in look and playing style of Arthur Pryor, John Phillip Sousa's trombonist at the turn of the century. o and whys the last movement played at half tempo? and whats with bowing after every movement, it wasnt that good, listen to brett baker

quite good but just listen to brett baker play it , this is too fast and rushed and wheres the lip trills lol where did they stop half way thru? wrong notes in cadenza plus out off tune on top notes, good effort thou.

that style is actually not entirely acurate. hes not using slide vibrato as much as arthur pryor would have. and the first 2 waltzes are meant to be a "free" line, not played strictly in time.

The stopping and bowing after each section of the piece is pretty obnoxious.
