Hi Wadzila. Yes it is. When they were made Fender were going through a bad patch. They had made the Anaversary Strat which was rubbish. The prez basses were not much better. These gave the real thing a run for their money. I got this a few months ago and was over the moon. I love the all black look and it feels great. the action is unbeleivable.

Is that one of those Fender's from Japan from the early eighties? Just wondering,the black headstock made me curios.Thanx.

Yes Wadzila. It is 1985 edition. After the failure with the Anniversary Strat. This Jap version of this bass proved to be really good. I tried some of the USA Prez Basses in the same year. And the were not very good. This is more like the Pre-CBS bases of the 60's. Nice slim neck.
