How can anyone truly hate My Chemical Romance?

A sort of rant video I did about the people who "hate" MCR. I explain why I believe that like the sound or not, no one has the right to hate such a strong, important, positive, and influencial band. Please let me know what you think.

Phil Anselmo had a bad herion addiciton. he had to take alot of drugs tht made him sound he came from stroke and it affected the way he snag onstage. that gerad waht vvere his name has a ntohing addciton compare to pihl's. phil overdosed for 4 straight mutes after a show.

Most of us don't like them because we're not impressed, and because they represent "trendiness" in its ugliest form. Did you say positive influence? So telling teens that it's ok to be self-loathing is all right? Kicking the music industry in its cold-dead face (has been since the end of the 90s) is ok? Every year we are bombarded with bands like these that will become a distant memory in a few months or years. Nowadays music isn't even a form of art.

Okay so, You could call me a fan girl and all but yes. I know I am. AND I'M CRAZILY IN LOVE WITH THEM. But that doesn't mean that they're the ONLY band I listen to. I mean, I listen to AFI and Coheed and Cambria and Thrice and all but. tss. I just want these negativities to stop. I know it's cheesy that it hurts the fans. but it might hurt MCR too as well :(

Here's what I seriously wonder: where did this emo shit come from? Seriously. It's not like it's been around for a long time. Only since around the late 90s. I used to listen to MCR, and I understand exactly what you're talking about. Gerard has a good message for all the kids, and he helped me through a depressing period of my life.

Btw, I think people hate them because of they are falsely labeled as emo. In fact, I stopped listening to them because they're fan base is 99.9999999% emo, and doesn't understand them, and I refuse to a part of emos.

Glad to see someone else truly gets the message.
