I woke up early one morning in my room at The Island Inn on Monhegan, Maine and had an urge to capture the sights and sounds from my window overlooking Manana Island and the harbor. Using a Nikon D100, I did long, hand-held time exposures with deliberate camera movement. As I shot, I recorded the sounds of the harbor with a Sony MiniDisc recorder. The digital camera gave me the advantage of seeing whether or not I got the exposures correct - or shall I say close. The results are not unlike abstract paintings.
try to use a tripod! :)
You can see the photos i made with my D100 on my youtube profile. Thanks
