This is the full promo film of the Yardbirds in their historical regalia shot for the US TV on June 16, 1965.
A few days later, as the presenter mentions in the clip, they would appear on a Beatles show in Paris as the opening act!

What a great video! I love nostalgic masterpieces like this video! It tells the story of one of rock music's greatest and influential bands of all time. The music of The Yardbirds is so unique, that it stood the test of time. They incorporated so many elements to their music, that they were ahead of their time. What a band! :-)

@highschoolmusical841 Non, ils jouaient en première partie quand les Beatles sont venus au parc des expositions. Il y avait aussi les " Haricots rouges" qu'on a copieusement hué. Les pauvres n'avaient rien à faire dans une pareille soirée!

They used to show new clips made for old 60's songs on MTV in the 80's so why didn't they show this or some of the other early promo clips from back then?
