Capcom takes on the legend of King Arthur(not Ghost'n Goblins!) and, obviously, turns into a side scrooling slash'em'up! This great CPS1 to Super Nintendo conversions allowed 2 players to play in co-op (Arcade had 3 player support) choosing either Lancelot, Arthur himself or Perceval. Really nice touch, the way you get upgrades to armour and weapons as you level up. This is level 1 with Arthur and level 2 with a bit of Lancelot thrown in for good measure.

  • this was better than final fight to me...

  • Sometimes I regret paying $80 for a year's worth of Microsoft Xbox Live. I could be playing and trying out all those little SNES gems instead of wasting my time on worthless gameplay like.. GTAIV and FIFA10 multiplayer. Lots of dickheads there. They ruin the gameplay. Also, SNES games fucking own newer generation consoles. You know why? Because they don't make in depth games anymore. Or maybe they do, but then some other element is crap. In good SNES games, everything has been worked on!

  • Just like Zero Punctuation says about games: no stealthing, no crappy guy shouting commands in your ear microphone, no guided skillsets, no strategies. Just you and a bunch of bad guys between you and your goal! =)

  • A much improved version of Golden Axe.

  • @woodwart I thought you gotten more points if you did not hit them!

  • nice game =D

  • So many memories with this game on the snes with friends and brother and dying sounds were hilarious... "Yeahh....". So soldier what do you think of dying? "Yeah....." LMAO.

  • i used to play this game when i was hella young first game ever loved i miss it so much i wish there was another one on x box

  • does divide a treasure chest gives you more exp ?? :O

  • Fantastic music on stage 2! Arthur's sprite is indeed the spitting image of Nigel Terry. His is the definitive portrayal of King Arthur in my opinion; none of that Clive Owen cobblers!
