@Lampshade51 Cantor recorded this song, but this is not his recording -- it's Stephen DeRosa singing. Cantor's vocal style at the time was much more projected. Look at "A Few Moments with Eddie Cantor (1923)" here on youtube.

Couple of points: Eddie Cantor was indeed already famous at the time of this portrayal, having joined the Ziegfeld Follies on Broadway in 1917, and was a full fledged star by the 1920s. Also: Seems the actor (who is very good) is lip synching to a real Eddie Cantor recording. Eddie was amazing, by the way. A one-man dynamo, worked right up through the TV era, hosting many Colgate Comedy Hours on NBC. Some are on youtube. Watch him there in his 60s still full of energy. Great entertainer.

This is the early 1920's before Cantor got famous

@Fileparty Square cars were what will become today's cars. It's where the cars you are driving were developed from. And if you know so much about motherfucker, then it'll be well that you learn its history too.

It is literally physically painful to have this song stuck in your head.
