I see the intention n this video, & by the comments posted. The song's doin its job n tryin to make fun of a lifestyle (though it went a littte far w/ deoderant & brushin teeth) & in gettin the word out to do somethin w/ your life. I disagree w/ the use of "nigga" & the video seeming mainly focused on blacks, rather than misguided youth; cause u all know if someone were to sing this song, someone could be offended. Just being honest, I did laugh hearing this song but some parts are 2 strong.

IN fact they are. Everyone involved in the making or airing this video was in fact African American. Even if they were not, this was posted ON B.E.T as a Public Service Announcement.

Good intentions are only a small step from total crap. I can see why you'd make a rap song parodying the genre and it's basis on ignorance and superficiality, but this is kind of sad.

No there isn't. The simple, polite, liberal messages are ignored. No one takes it seriously anymore. This isn't the 80's or 90's. If you dont' slap someone in the face, they're going to kick you in the nuts. People NEED that blatant in your face message, or else they'll just keep walking by. So you are wrong.

I would hope so. I'm just a simple WASP country boy, so I'm sure I don't know what plagues said "community". But I see a lot of people that appear as if they could learn something from this video. I'm not going to generalize this to ALL black people, but there are a few who you have to wonder if they honestly believe people take them seriously.

the sad thing is as a black student i know personally since the year 2003 there have been more black me from the age of 18 to 31 in college over jail but fucking abc and fox five tell to think other wise be smart turn the damn tv off and read a book
