  • @MacMic333 ..thanks for the comment man...my point is, that in the same way, if he was playing it out of tune, it would obviously sound wrong ..right?. My argument is that he's playing it out of TEMPO,...every piece of music, classical or otherwise seems to have a 'sweet spot'.. or the 'Goldilocks zone' where tempo is concerned. I have to say, in fairness, your comment is thought provoking though. cheers Mac:)

There is no tempo set as Bach often left that to the performer. It can be played fast of slow depending on the requirements.Sometimes it's nice to get away from the hundreds of mechanical 'typewiter performances' to something that explores the harmonic and emotional content.

  • Good performance and I'm guessing it needs playing in more so that work can begin on the expression and variations. This is a good arrangement and worth the work.

Sheet music arrangement by David Russell available from Doberman-Yppan , Quebec , Canada .No.DO490 which also contains BWV 645. Well worth getting.

  • Muy bella versión con arreglos de Russell, y magníficamente interpretada por tí. Enhorabuena.
