And was never charged with anything. The spin, smear campaigns are just another example of too many people looking to discredit good Americans. Attacks on America are so often not just unfounded, but totally twisted and distorted to discredit us. Seems suspect to me. Where do these smears really come from - who has it in for the US. Gee I wonder how many non-free propaganda countries have a vested interested in that!!

There was no affair. No cocaine McCain. Only a man who sat in a war camp for his country. Came home, and then served the country. Was not indicted with the Keating 5. Has not been tried for any of these accusations. But, you do have a "Rag" newspaper, known for its extreme left positions - to the point of being anti-American. And it has shown irresponsible journalism. That is a fact!

I missed this email. Actually, He was not prosecuted with Keating 5. Did not have an affair, and did not take any special favors from lobbyists. Should certainly not go back to serve more than the 5 + years as a prisoner of war. Maybe you should though. The New York Times RAG does not have the right to smear with facts. Shame on them and you!

however if America wants a John mCocaine scandal, it realy needs to put further investigation into the Keating 5 savings and loan disaster that duped the taxpayers out of 3.4 billion. John mCocaine was a member of the Keating 5

-- Funds R&D on new fuels.
-- Bonuses for energy conservation.
-- Funds the bill by closing tax loopholes for Big Oil.
If you can afford $520 Ferragamo shoes, obstructing a bill like the New Energy Reform Act might seem like a good idea.
But I'm glad Obama is looking for real solutions to the energy crisis now!
