Geez the amount of extreme comments on this video! Torture, painful, out of ideas (seriously though, out of Ideas, Leon Rose? That'd be the day :P) You would think Leon was leading some sort of Biomechanically impossible movement. I don't see anything like this. I see a highly stylised dance, yes rough around the edges in places, but on the other hand I trust that the fun they appear to be having is genuine. I also doubt Magna would tolerate a serially pain-inducing leader for a minute :P

a few fun moves but overall I'd rather see a smooth dancer like Alex da Silva or Oliver Pineda...

And to reply to slavetosalsa: It's a combined effort - the guy needs to adapt to the lady's level primarily and if he does adapt to her level then you can expect more from the woman. A female dancer that is all about movement would be better lead with space in between moves instead of complicated pattern after complicated pattern. She'd appreciate it and he could enjoy her response more - makes for a more beautiful dance overall. And that's not fair btw - "Magna could do it." LOL ur too funny

hm don't get it honestly, these comments about leon and the painful dance...magna looks clean and unphased as ever, and they have a good connection. to me looks like one of those dances towards the end of the congress when everyone is throwing down and anything goes. Sure, Magna never gets phased and makes everything look effortless, but at the same time this raises the bar for the rest of the ladies - you cannot blame it on the guy - Magna could do it, lol.

I love dancers who can let out their "infantilism" if they are in the mood, or if the music made you "play"!!! I like Magna for being so natural always...there are many good woman dancers in the world, but to be a special one, you need to be yourself...and that's what Magna shows us everytime...from the playing little girl, to the sexiest woman ever...and all of these sides is hiding in a real woman's personality!!! :-))) Thanx!

Yup - there's no humility in salsa any more. BE HUMBLE. We're all beginners sometime, 'There will always be newer, faster, slicker and YOUNGER dancers. Leon put my neck in traction because he wasn't aware that I was intermediate dancer. My experience of dancing with him those few times was, its not a shared experience. ITs all about him

She's a real (and elegant) trouper to put up with THAT. It looked like he was totally out of ideas... and 'took it out' on her.

Actually guys, it was a fun dance. Yes, there are times that Leon's lead can be a little stronger than necessary but he does do moves that no one else does and it takes a little time to adjust to that. This dance was fun for me even where it looks rough..lol. Leon's a fantastic dancer and one of the most interesting to dance with when it comes to creative patterns.
