Early 1980's Sci-Fi series about an alien prince. This ran at the end of the run of regular episodes, confusing many people, particularly if you missed Peter Barton's voiceover explanation at the very beginning of the Pilot.

Peter wasn't burned in the pilot, but in the next filed episode (Jackal) with Lou Gossett, Jr., the scene in the auto yard when Float starts the fires.

Well I can see why they waited till the end of the show's run to show this. If the network had opened the series with this it would've been cancelled alot quicker. I only caught the occassional episode when it originally ran (I think because this ran opposite the Greatest American Hero) but I remember the show being alot more action oriented than this.

This show gave me horrible nightmares when I was a child. I can't say why, really.
