  • nice capture...wouldn't surprise me if the Mink was actually 'sizing up' the Blue Heron, they are ferocious little creatures(talking from experience:)...thanks for the share my friend

  • @DAWL01 Thank you, David! I think, you are right, because I've heard heron screaming before I came to film him. So, he might be lucky this time. Thank you for taking your time to watch my videos. :)

  • This is fantastic. I had never heard the sounds made by a groundhog

before. An excellent nature video with "joyful" music background.

  • @DesertDriver100 Thank you very much for your wonderful comment! I'm happy that you like it. The whistling groundhog is my favorite piece and I never heard him before too - only when I was filming him. That was awesome experience. Wishing you a happy weekend, my dear friend. :O)

  • Ha, that's funny, Mink is a guy's name here, so I was wondering who the h*ll is Mink, and where IS he, I don't see anyone! :-o But yeah, finally I spotted the mink ;-)

  • @johvdz Thanks so much, dear Jan! I'm glad that you found the Mink...:) I'm coming from San Francisco with so much footage that I'm not sure I have all the Minks put nicely together...:) I hope I'll figure out how to post them in nice sequence...Have a happy weekend, my dear friend. I'll catch with the friends videos next week hopefully...:O)

  • @seahue Hi David! Thank you very much for your lovely and funny comment! :) The mink did fools of both of us - the heron and me. He was irritating the heron for quite some time and the heron was screaming at him. I did not see the mink either, because he was camouflaged so well with the soil...poor me...:) So did the whistling groundhog - I thought it was a bird and could not find any, until I get close to his burrow, but in the end the video came out fine...:O) Have a happy days and filming.

  • More awesome bee footage! And that mink had a great view of the heron...I think I saw a video camera in his paws:D To bad you couldn't get closer to the mink...but that cute groundhog made up for it! The music was perfect...captures that 'winters coming' suspense:)
