The ultimate nightvision app for iPhone and iPod Touch!
True NightVision enhances live video from the iPhone's camera. It can show a bright scene where the Camera app shows nothing but blackness.

Please Note:
True NightVision requires a certain amount of light to work. It will not work in pitch black or very dark conditions - the camera just isn't physically capable of it.
It will work in conditions where the Camera app can see nothing, and you can often take clear photos in poor lighting with this app.
True NightVision requires a compatible iOS device: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch with camera. Newer devices should be supported.

  • can u take videos wit this?

  • @davyjonesvideos No, only still photos.

  • Looks okay to me.. Mind sending me a promo code?? I wanna do a review on this app.. So far people rated this app pretty bad.. I wonder why..?

    -R

  • @chosenangelx Most of the bad reviews are from people who've not read the app description, and expect it to work in total darkness (it doesn't, it needs a moderate amount of light to work - but it does work when the camera app can see nothing at all) or they expect it to record videos (it doesn't, but it can take enhanced photos).

Feedback has otherwise been pretty good, which is why it's got a kind of 'mixed' rating. Frustrating, guess I should have used a clearer name!

  • If you had an IR LED flooding the scene ahead it should work in total darkness though, correct?

  • @Retrosicko Really? I have to try this! I would think they'd have added an infra-red filter, because wouldn't it affect daytime photography otherwise? Wonder if I can get some IR-pass filter film from somewhere, or an IR light!

  • You want infrared daytime option? Simply take a pc of the dark part of a processed film event from before digital age photos. The darkest pc you can not see through put infrint of lens and in daylight kindly you see only infrared

  • Kindly note all iPhone are born with a camera which is infrared sensitive in fact. Cave man obvious test is point your tv controller at lens & push button. The light is visible. Now flood room w infrared light from LEDs connected to a 9vold battery and make sure use resistors

  • 5 people are spies.

  • Mmmmm nice
